processor 1? I mean in this configuration, can CPU2 still access the memory that connected to CPU1 only?

NSWER: Yes, CPU2 still can access the memory on CPU1 through the QPI (QuickPath Interconnect) between
processors.
However, it is recommended to install DIMMs on each processor. So, each processor has its own local memory
(belong to the memory controller of this processor) which has better bandwidth and lower latency than
remote memory (belonging to the neighboring controller).
