Removing the CPU air baffle
You will need to remove the CPU air baffle to perform the following
procedures:
• Removing and installing a heat sink
• Removing and installing a CPU
• Removing and installing a DVD drive
To remove the CPU air baffle
1 Observe the ESD precautions and pre-installation instructions
described on page 33.
2 Insert your fingers into the holes on the top of the baffle (A).
3 Pull the baffle up and back to disengage the baffle from the two
sheet-metal tabs on the front of the baffle.
4 Lift the baffle from the chassis (B).
