Photography Menu (AE/AWB tab)
1. Slide the mode switch to [ ] and set
the mode dial to one of the photography
modes.
2. Press the MENU button, and select the
[AE/AWB] menu with the X button.
The [AE/AWB] tab of the photography
menu is displayed.
3. Select the desired [AE/AWB] option item
with the S /T buttons, and press the
SET button to enter its respective menu.
4. Select the desired setting with the S/T buttons, and press the SET button.
5. To exit from this menu, press the MENU button.
White Balance
This specifies the white balance settings to be used by the camera for particular
lighting conditions.
[Blank] Auto: The camera will determine white balance automatically.
[ ] Incandescent: For photography under incandescent lighting.

] Fluorescent 1: For photography under a daylight fluorescent tube with a
bluish cast.
[

] Fluorescent 2: For photography under a daylight white fluorescent tube
with a reddish cast.
[ ] Day Light: Outdoor photography.
[ ] Cloudy: For photography under a cloudy sky.
[ ] Manual: For photography with a Manual WB.
Metering
This sets the exposure-metering method for calculating proper exposure.
[ ] Multi: The entire area of the screen is measured, and the exposure is
calculated.
[ ] Spot: A very small portion of the center of the screen is measured, and
the exposure is calculated.
The [AE/AWB] menu is not available in the [ ] mode.
In the [ ] mode, the "Metering" and "ISO" cannot be set.
