MTU Instruction
for Sprague/Actaris 'Curb-type' Gas Meters
Purpose & Scope
This instruction provides a procedure for use in installing a Hexagram STAR MTU and
Pulser on a Sprague/Actaris ‘Curb-type’ Gas Meter with top mounted index.

Installation Procedure
There are two parts to this procedure.
First, the pulser must be mounted to the
meter. Then, the MTU must be mounted
in a nearby location that will allow RF
transmissions to propagate.
