C Check your power source
» Check to ensure the Power Adapter is securely connected to the back of the IRIS X.
» If the Power Adapter is plugged into a surge protector or power strip, make sure the power to the surge
protector is switched on.
» Make sure the Home Button light is illuminated or ashing.
C Verify your network
» Make sure your IRIS X is installed correctly as illustrated on the inside of this guide.
» Verify your Internet connection is working properly by browsing to your favorite website with a computer.
C Allow sucient time for initial setup
» The setup process may take up to 15 minutes. Please do not touch the screen or unplug the video phone
until the 10 digit telephone number and icon turns green (shown in STEP 7).
