I N S TA L L AT I O N - - S T E P S 1 - 4 1 Rout or cut a slot in your desired installation material that fits the width and depth of your channel (A). 2 Insert the channel (A) into the cut-out area so that the flanges on the side sit flush against the mounting material. If necessary, use tape to temporarily hold the channel in place. (A) 3 (A) Use a counter-sink drill bit and drill through the channel into the mounting material.
I N S TA L L AT I O N - - S T E P S 5 - 8 5 Clean the mountain surface free of dust and debris using a wet cloth. For metal mounting surfaces use rubbing alcohol (C) to wipe clean. 6 After surface is dry, apply 1/16” double-sided tape (D) to the desired mounting path of your RibbonLyte in your channel. (C) (D) 7 Remove backing from double-sided tape (D). 8 Remove the backing from the RibbonLyte (E) that you are going to be applying atop the double-sided tape.
I N S TA L L AT I O N - - S T E P S 9 - 1 0 9 Apply the RibbonLyte (E) by placing one end of the strip at the end of the doublesided tape (D) inside the channel (A) then slide your finger along the RibbonLyte (F) to make sure there is firm contact and that the tape adheres well.
