The Acorn 180 Curved Stairlift is a modular system, designed for easy assembly
and maintenance utilising the rack and pinion method of travel along the rail,
which is still the most reliable system available. This method is used with
customer safety paramount throughout design and manufacture. You may
experience some small bumps or jolts during use of the stairlift; this is normal
for this type of technology
Lower the footrest.
Lower the seat and arms.
Hold down one of the swivel paddles
and swivel the seat until it locks into its

travel.
To swivel the seat, hold down one of the
seat paddles and rotate the seat. Release
the paddle and keep rotating until it locks
into position, partly or fully around. (At the
top of the stairs only).

You may at this point swivel the seat back
and fold the footrest, arms and seat up.
