6 acronis_encrypt utility
The acronis_encrypt utility allows you to encrypt a string of characters, for example, a password.
The utility is available on any machine where the acrocmd utility or Acronis Backup & Recovery 11.5
Management Console is installed. The path to the utility is as follows:
  In a 32-bit version of Windows: %CommonProgramFiles%\Acronis\Utils
  In a 64-bit version of Windows: %CommonProgramFiles(x86)%\Acronis\Utils
  In Linux: /usr/sbin
To use the utility, perform the following steps.
1. Type acronis_encrypt <string you want to encrypt>.
2. The utility outputs a string, for example "XXXYYYZZZ888".
3. Copy this string and paste it into the necessary command string or script.
