• Acronis Storage reserves 5% of disk space for emergency needs.
Therefore, if you add a 6TB disk to a cluster, the available physical space should increase by about 5.2 TB.
2.3 Planning Network
Acronis Storage uses two networks (e.g., Ethernet): a) a internal network that interconnects nodes and com-
bines them into a cluster, and b) a public network for exporting stored data to users.
The figure below shows a top-level overview of the internal and public networks of Acronis Storage. One
network interface on each node is also used for management: through it, administrators can access the node
from the management panel and via SSH.
