2. Copy the file or folder to a hard disk.
Note The copied files lose the "Compressed" and "Encrypted" attribute. If you need to keep these attributes, it
is recommended to recover the backup.
Recovering data in Acronis Cloud
1. On the Acronis True Image 2021 sidebar, click Account.
2. In the Acronis Cloud Storage section, click Browse my data.
You are redirected to the Acronis Cloud browser page.
3. On left sidebar, click BACKUPS.
4. From the Backups list, select the cloud backup which contains the files or folders that you want
to recover.
5. From the list of files and folders, select the ones that you want to recover.
6. [Optional] You can recover a specific version of a file (not a folder). To do this, click Versions on
the right sidebar, and then click the download icon on the required version line.
7. To start the recovery, click DOWNLOAD on the right sidebar.
The selected data will be copied to the default downloads folder.
Note If you selected several files and folders, they will be placed into a zip archive.
5.3 Searching backup content
While recovering data from local backups, you can search for specific files and folders stored in the
selected backup.
To search for files and folders:
1. Start recovering data as described in Recovering partitions and disks (p. 95) or Recovering files
and folders (p. 104).
2. When selecting files and folders to recover, enter the file or folder name into the Search field.
The program shows search results.
