Replicated VM Manager

On the Replica Info tab you can see the summary information on the selected replica:

 ESX(i) Host information.

 Datastore information.

 Resource Pool where original VM is stored.

Here, you can also perform the basic operations - Failover and Failback from replica. The subsequent

sections describe these basic operations in detail.

14.2.2 Failover

If a replicated virtual machines crashes, you can start it quickly by running replica VM (Failover). The

Failover feature helps you to get the critical service up and running even before the failed VM is

recovered.

Select the replica VM you want to start and click the Failover button in the ribbon menu. In the drop-

down menu, select if you want to use the network on the replica VM. If the original VM is running,

you can choose to Stop the Original VM before Failover. Then click Run.
