17.6.1 Managing Online Backup Proxy

Click Online Backup Proxy in the Configure tab of the Acronis vmProtect 8 main ribbon menu to

open the Online Backup Proxy settings page.

Online backup proxy settings are effective only for backup to and recovery from the Acronis Online

Backup Storage over the Internet.

This option defines whether the Acronis agent will connect to the Internet through a proxy server.

Note that the Acronis vmProtect 8 Online Backup Storage supports only HTTP and HTTPS proxy

servers.
