• during the operation when user interaction is required

After setting up e-mail notifications, you can send a test mail message by clicking the appropriate

button.

17.2.2. WinPopup notification

To set up WinPopup notification, select Tools & Utilities → Options → Notifications → Messenger

(WinPopup):

Provide the name of the computer to which notifications will be sent.

At the bottom of this window you can choose whether you want to get notifications:

• when the operation is completed successfully

• when the operation failed

• during the operation when user interaction is required

17.3. Viewing Tasks and Logs

Acronis True Image Home 2010 Netbook Edition has a Tasks and Log screen that allows you to view

its working logs and scheduled tasks. The logs can provide information, for instance, about scheduled

backup or validation task results, including reasons for any failures.

Most Acronis True Image Home 2010 Netbook Edition operations write their own entries in the logs,

though logs are not provided for the image mounting/unmounting, Acronis Startup Recovery

Manager activation/deactivation, and bootable media creation.
