(2) TCAS Mode Activation
Prior to takeoff, activate TCAS as follows:
• Set TCAS/XPDR mode selector to TA/RA
• Set TA/DSPLY to AUTO
• Set ALT/RPTG to 1 or 2.
(3) TCAS Mode Deactivation
After clearing the runway following landing, set the TCAS/XPDR mode selector to
STBY to disable Mode S communication.
