5 Handset Configuration
• Warning phase duration
Determines the time before the warning phase is ended and the alarm is se
nt.

Determines if detection time for man-down and no-movement a
larms are extended.

The call can be established in the following mo
des;
- Off: No automatic call after alarm
- Normal: the call is established as an o
rdinary call.
- Loudspeaking: the loudspeaker on the backside of the handse
t is turned on.
- Monitoring: a one-way speech channel is established, that is, the called part can only
listen to
an conversation.
• Turn off NM-MD during call
Determines if the Man-down alarm and No-movem
ent alarm is disabled during a call.

5.30 Sound Settings for Calls
The ring volume and ring signal for calls can be set.
5.30.1 Set Ring Volume
1 Select Settings > Sound and Alerts.

down list, select the ring volume to be used.
5.30.2 Set Ring Signal
1 Select Settings > Sound and Alerts.
2 In the call drop-down lists, select the ring signal to be used for the different calls.

Call/External Call/Callback/PTT Call drop-down lists; select the ring
signal to be used for the incoming call, respectively.

The handset can play customized ring signals. The ring signals mu
st first be customized
before it can be selectable in 5.30.2 Set Ring Signal.
NOTE: Custom sounds can also be used as message alerts.
It is recommended to not use
same sounds as ring signals and message alerts to distinguish them from each other.
