5 Handset Configuration
2In the Name of group field, enter a descriptive name.

4 Select System Profiles > System Profiles Sub Groups > Alarm settings group > Alarm
settings X > Alarm on long press
Alarm type for long press - Determines the alarm type to be sent when long
pr
essing the alarm button. If Not used is selected, the call can still be dialled after
alarm number (if any, see 5.26 Common Alarm Settings on pa
ge 36) without
sending an alarm.
ALS - Determines if a ramped up signa
l sounds after an alarm is sent. Note: If the
handset is configured to call a predefined number when an alarm is sent (see 5.26
Common Alarm Settings on page 36), the
ALS is not triggered.

Alarm type for multiple press - Determines the alarm type to be sent when
pressing th
e alarm button twice or more. If Not used is selected, it is still possible
to dial the call after alarm number (if any, see 5.26 Common Alarm Settings on
page 36) without sending an alarm.

Man-down alarm - Determines if the Man-down alarm is enabled or disabled.
Man-down detection time - Determines when the warning phase starts after
man-down is

disabled.
No-movement detection time - Determines when the warning ph
ase starts after
No-movement alarm is triggered.
Warning phase duration - Determines the time before the wa
rning phase is ended
and the alarm is sent.
ALS - Determines if a ramped up signal shall sound after an ala
rm is sent. Note: If
the handset is configured to call a predefined number when an alarm is sent (see
5.26 Common Alarm Settings on pa
ge 36), the ALS is not triggered.

settings X > Pull-cord
Pull-cord alarm - Determines if the pull-cord alarm is en
abled or disabled.

ge 36), the ALS is not triggered.
Configure Sound and Alerts Sub Group
These parameters let the system administrator define up to five different system profile sub
groups of sounds and alerts. To configure a sub group:
1. If the parameter "Silent alarm" is set, no indication is shown when an alarm has been sent or received.
