8.1 Using Advanced Settings
To access the FiOS Router’s Advanced Settings, click Advanced at the top of
the Home screen. Click Yes in the Warning screen, and the “Advanced”
screen appears.
The following settings are explained in this chapter:
Diagnosticst - perform diagnostic tests on the FiOS Router
Restoret Defaults - reset the FiOS Router to its default settings
Reboott Router - restart the FiOS Router
MACt Cloning - clone MAC addresses
ARPt Table - display active devices and their IP and MAC addresses, etc.
Userst - create and manage remote users
Quality of Service (QoS)t - explained in Appendix A of this manual
Local Administrationt - allows the user to grant local Telnet access
Remote Administrationt - explained in chapter 4 of this manual
Dynamic DNSt - configure Dynamic DNS settings
DNS Servert - manage the local (LAN) network for host name and IP address
