INTRODUCTION

Kaos has blown up the walls of the feared Cloudcracker Prison,

freeing the most notorious villains in Skylands. It’s up to you and the

Skylanders to ﬁnd and capture them. Using Traptanium™, a magic

material that can harness the power of the Elements, you have the

amazing ability to trap the villains and return them to Skylands to ﬁght

for you. Begin the ultimate adventure as you explore Skylands in search

of the escaped villains!

WIRELESS TRAPTANIUM PORTAL

& WIRELESS CONTROLLER

To start your Skylanders Trap Team™ adventure,

please follow these directions:

1. Visit your device’s app store and

download Skylanders Trap Team.

2. Turn on Bluetooth

in device

settings (for additional instructions

see hardware manual).

3. Run the Skylanders Trap Team app.

4. Press the power button on the

wireless Traptanium Portal™.

5. Press the power button on the

wireless controller.

6. You’re now ready to play the full Skylanders Trap Team experience!

It is through the wireless Traptanium Portal that the Skylanders can

enter the ancient islands that make up Skylands. Once placed on the

wireless Traptanium Portal, the Skylander will come to life and be

playable in-game.

It is also through the wireless Traptanium Portal that you can capture

villains and use them as allies. After defeating villains in Skylanders

Trap Team, place a trap of the villain’s element in the Trap Slot in order

to capture it. Subsequently, place that Trap in the portal at any time in

order to play as that villain.

TOY PLACEMENT

You may place up to 3 toys on the

wireless Traptanium Portal at once,

which includes 2 playable Skylanders

(for 2 player mode only) and

1 Magic Item or Location Piece (sold

separately). Additionally, you may

place one trap in the wireless

Traptanium Portal Trap Slot.
