HOW TO USE ON-LINE HELP
The software contains On-Line Help for
specific tool screens, functions, and error
messages. When the icon (
^) appears in
the upper right-hand corner of the display,
On-Line Help is available.
To enter On-Line Help, press the
+(/3
key. For the screen above, the help
message would look like this
The text in On-Line Help screens are in
CAPITAL LETTERS. This is an indication
that you are viewing On-Line Help
screens and not screens associated with
a function of the Function List.
Some messages are longer than one screen. Use the
83'2:1
arrow keys to
scroll through the screens.
To exit On-Line Help and return to the original screen, press the
%$&.
key.
TOOL DOES NOT POWER UP
✓ Review the “Safety Precautions” before troubleshooting.
If the tool will not power up, communicate with your vehicle’s PCM, pass Tool
Self-Tests, or functions incorrectly in any other way, then try these
Troubleshooting Tips below before consulting Actron.
Though the tool requires at least 6.5V to power up, the vehicle’s control modules
require a minimum of 8.0V to power up and operate.
