disk Commands
The Rev Column
The Rev column displays the revision number of the SCSI device.
The Block Column
The Block column displays the number of blocks available on the 
SCSI device.
The Bytes/Block Column
The Bytes/Block column displays the number of bytes for each 
block on the SCSI device.
The Usage Column
The Usage column displays the usage of the SCSI device. The disk 
list command can display one of the values listed in Table 5-2.

The Shared Column
The Shared column displays the value YES if the device resides on 
a shared channel and the value NO if the device does not reside on 
a shared channel. In the example, the devices do not reside on a 
shared channel.
Value Meaning
Detached The system detected that the diskset in the detached 
state. When a diskset is detached, it is not available 
for use.
DOS The SCSI device was prepared for use (initialized) 
with MS-DOS partitions.
Initialized The SCSI device was prepared for use (initialized) 
with arrays.
Not Initialized The SCSI device was not prepared for use 
(initialized) with arrays.
Offline The SCSI device was present at boot time. 
However, the device is either removed from the 
controller or it failed.
Unowned The controller does not own the SCSI device.
