diagnostic moderation set count
To set the default interrupt count on the controller, use the
diagnostic moderation set count command.
Caution: Use this command only under the direction of
technical support.
Syntax
diagnostic moderation set count {integer}
Parameters
{integer}
Specifies the value (for example, 700) you want to set as the
default interrupt count on the controller. The interrupt count
is the number of outstanding requests on the controller
needed before the delay time (the time specified by the
diagnostic set timer command) takes effect. For
example, if the interrupt count is set to 32 and the delay time
is set to 10, the controller batches I/O request responses for
one millisecond only if there are more than 32 I/Os
outstanding in the one millisecond interval.
