4.3. Cuff tube connection

monitor indicated by the drawing of a cuff .

This instrument enables you to select either standard (standard single
m e a s u r ement) or ADC
®
Averaging Mode Technology™ (automatic
triple measurement). To select standard mode, push the switch on the
side of the instrument downward to P
osition “1” and to select
Averaging Mode, upwards to Position “3”. If you select 1 then only one
m e a s u r ement will be taken. If you select 3, the unit will inflate and
deflate three times resulting in one final average measure m e n t .
4.5. Select the User (6022, 6023 models only)
This blood pre s s u r e monitor is designed to store 99 measurements for
each of two users. Before taking a measurement, be certain that the
c o r rect user has been selected.
a) With the u
nit off, press and hold the Time/Date button for 3
seconds until the user icon in the upper left corner of the LCD
s c r een flashes.
b) P ress the Memory button to toggle between users.
c) P ress the On/Off / S t a r t button to make your selection.

succession and the result then automatically analyzed and displayed. Because y

appears in the display as the symbol.
• The bottom right hand section of the display shows a 1, 2, or 3 to indicate which of the 3
m e a s u r ements is currently being taken.

5.7. Memoria – exhibición de las últimas 99 mediciones
Al final de una medición, este monitor almacena automáticamente cada resultado con la fecha y la
hora. Esta unidad guarda 99 memorias para cada uno de los dos usuarios.
Visualización de los valores almacenados
Estando la unidad apagada, presione el boton “M”. La pantalla le enseñará primero “A”, luego el
promedio de todas las mediciones almacenadas en la unidad. Por favor tenga en cuenta que las
mediciones de cada usuario son almacenadas por separado, asegúrece que esté viendo las
mediciones del usuario correcto. El instrumento vuelve luego al último dato almacenado.
Presionando el botón “M” de nuevo se observará el valor anterior. Para ver una medición grabada en
particular, mantenga presionado el botón “M” hasta llegar a la medición deseada.
Memoria llena
Cuando la memoria ha almacenado 99 resultados, un nuevo valor reemplazará al mas antiguo.
Como despejar los valores
Si usted está seguro que quiere borrar permanentemente todos lo valores almacenados, mantenga
presionado el botón “M” ( el dispositivo debe de estar apagado) hasta que las letras “CL” aparezcan y
luego suelte el botón. Si usted no quiere borrar los valores, presione el botón On/Off. Para borrar la
memoria permanentemente, presione el botón “M” mientras las letras “CL” esten intermitentes.
Valores individuales no se pueden borrar.
5.8. Como descontinuar la medición
Si por alguna razón, se hace necesario interrumpir el procedimiento (ej. El paciente
no se siente bien), se puede presionar el botón ON/OFF en cualquier momento. El
dispositivo inmediátamente comenzará a disminuir automáticamente la presión en el
brazalete.
