COMPATIBILITY WITH CAMPUS-RS PRODUCTS
The Campus-RS Fractional Interface Card is also compatible, over the HDSL
link, with another Campus-RS unit, as shown in the following illustration.
When connecting to another Campus-RS Desktop Unit or Line Unit,
Standard Mode is still supported, providing access to HDSL transmission
rates of T1, E1, and 768 kbps. In addition, the Campus-RS system can be
configured to support an extended set of HDSL transmission rates, over either
one or two HDSL loops.
Not all modes and rates may be available. Some Campus-RS
interface cards support only a limited set of operating modes
and transmission rates. Refer to the remote interface card
user manual to see the HDSL modes and rates supported by
the card.
