RESTORING THE SYSTEM TO DEFAULT VALUES
To return the Campus unit configuration options to their default values:
1 Press Escape until CAMPUS RS I/F: FRAC displays.
2 Press Enter. The LCD displays the software version number.
3 Press Next until the LCD displays Press ENTER to factory
reset, then press Enter.
The system configuration options return to the default values listed in
“Default Settings” on page A-2.
SETTING THE DATA RATE
The HDSL Mode setting determines the data rate. Depending on the mode
you want to set, continue with either “Standard Mode Data Rates” or
“Extended Mode Data Rates.
Standard Mode Data Rates
In Standard HDSL Mode, the HDSL line always operates at a constant rate,
however the Fractional Interface Card can be set to operate synchronously at
integer multiples of either 56 kbps or 64 kbps (n x 56 kbps or n x 64 kbps). In
addition, the Fractional Interface Card can also be configured to operate at
“full rate,” where all the user bandwidth of the HDSL line is made available
to the data port.
Some options, such as the HDSL Rate must be the same for
both the local and remote unit. Resetting the Campus unit
configuration values on one unit only, may cause the HDSL
link to go down.
