Remote Alarms
Loss of Signal (LOS) alarms can occur on the remote unit. This section
describes how to view and configure this alarm.
Viewing Current Alarms
If the CURRENT ALARMS display indicates a remote alarm, you can
determine the alarm type:
1 From the CURRENT ALARMS display, press Next until
RMT I/F ALARMS displays.
2 Press Enter. The current status of the remote alarm displays.
Configuring the Alarm
There are two settings for the remote Loss of Signal alarm:
• ENABLE enables the alarm
• DISABLE disables the alarm
To configure the remote Loss of Signal alarm:
1 From the CURRENT ALARMS display, press Next until
RMT I/F ALARMS displays, then press Enter. The current status of the
remote alarm displays.
2 Press Next until RMT LOSS OF SIG displays.
3 Press Enter.
4 Press Next to scroll through the settings for the alarm.
5 Press Enter to select the desired setting. RMT LOSS OF SIG displays.
