Set the Rate Multiplier
The Rate Multiplier determines the size of each data packet that is transmitted
or received through the data port. It can be set to one of the following:
• 64 kbps
• 56 kbps
To set the Rate Multiplier:
1 From the Data Port Settings menu, type then press . The Rate
Multiplier option changes to the next available setting.
2 Repeat the previous step until the Data Port Settings menu displays the
desired Rate Multiplier setting.
If you change the Rate Multiplier, the Data Port Rate changes
automatically to reflect the new multiplier.
