INTRODUCTION

QSBIOS(c) is a replacement for the standard Heath/Zenith CP/M 2.2X03 and 2.2.04 BIOS

which

provides complete support for the Xebec S-1410 Winchester disk controller provided in the QUIKSTOR

package, allowing use of any Seagate ST-506 compatible Winchester drive with up to 33 Megabytes

capacity, as well as the standard H-17, H-37, and H-47 disk systems. The Tandon TM503 15 Meg

and the Rodime 203E 33 Meg drives are supported as individual units or as multiple units on the same

Xebec controller or the same host adapter. Disk partitioning is totally user configurable, allowing up

to 15 partitions of any size from 16 Kilobytes to 8 Megabytes. Any partition may be booted, and any

four partitions may be accessed at any given time as the software is distributed. It may be modified

for allowing a maximum of 8 partitions, but this will be the user's responsibility and will not be

supported by Quikdata. QSBIOS leaves completely intact all features of the standard H/Z CP/M
