** ERROR ** Unable To Write Disk Label After formatting the diskette, an attempt was made to write
the disk label, but the attempt failed. The proper action is to try again to format and media
test the diskette. If. the error re-occurs, the diskette should be discarded. If this error
occurs frequently, the drives probably require servicing.
** ERROR ** Unable To Find Track 0 This indicates that the driver was unable to get a track 00 signal
from the requested drive. This indicates either a hardware fault, or possibly the disk is not
properly inserted. Remove and replace the diskette, and try again.
** ERROR ** Drive Not Ready This indicates that the driver was unable to get a ready status from
the drive. This most likely indicates the wrong type of disk was inserted in the drive, or the disk
was inserted incorrectly, or the drive door was not, closed completely. Remove and replace the
diskette, and try again.
** ERROR ** Partition Is Too Large To Format An attempt was made to format a Winchester partition
which is larger than the CP/M maximum of 8 Megabytes. It will be necessary to exit the format
program, and run the partitioning program to reduce the partition size to 8 Mbytes or less before
it can be formatted.
** ERROR ** Unable To Read Partition Table This indicates that the driver was unable to read the
partition table from the Winchester drive. This probably indicates a hardware failure.
**ERROR** Unable To Write Partition Directory After formatting the specified partition, an attempt
was made to clear the partition directory to CP/M format, but the attempt failed. This probably
indicates a hardware failure.
** ERROR ** Unable To Format This Diskette This indicates that the driver was unable to format the
specified disk, and was unable to determine the exact problem. Check to be sure that a valid
drive was specified, and that the disk was properly inserted in the drive, the door closed, and that
the disk is not write protected.
