Installation and use of scale Your ADE Electronic Baby Scale is a class III approved scale which has been manufactured for medical use in hospitals, by doctors or medical specialists. The scale is a precision instrument. The weighing result is used as an essential basis for medical application decided by doctors or medical personnel in hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation- and dialysis centres. Make sure the baby is only weighed by trained personnel and is never left unattended.
Quality check ADE products correspond to the applicable EC Directives and European standards to manufacture and distribute world-wide weighing and measuring equipment as per the latest technical standard offering a long lifetime and continuous reliability. This symbol stands for fulfillment of the European Directive 93/42 EEC for medical devices and declares the conformity as per this Directive.
Tare function This function enables the user to weigh the baby together with other objects (e.g. diaper, vetst, towel or blanket) without getting any other result than just the baby’s weight. - Start the scale by using the tilting switch underneath the base right hand side. Zero the scale by pressing the Zero key if necessary. The zero indicator will be seen on the display. Place object (e.g. diaper, vest, towel or blanket) on the tray. Press Tare key to come back to zero. Display should show `0.00´.
In those cases contact your local dealer or service partner. Storage and Transport Keep all original parts and pieces for an eventual sending back of the scale in order to avoid any possible damage during transport which automatically leads to no warranty. Disconnect all cables before transport to avoid unnecessary damages.
