Lesson 04 Compass
Introduction
In this lesson, let’s make a compass.
What is compass?
The compass is one of the four inventions in ancient China. It is a simple
instrument for discriminating orientation. Our mobile phones also have this
function. The geographical north pole of the earth is actually the south pole
of the earth's magnetic field; opposites attract, so the north pole of the
magnetic needle is attracted and points to the south pole of magnetic field,
that is, the geographical north pole.
Operating steps
1. We only need to prepare a micro:bit and a USB cable, then connect to
computer.
