Temperature Sensor

Accelerometer

By reversing the LEDs of the screen to

become an input, the LED screen works

as a basic light sensor, allowing you to

detect ambient light.

This sensor allows the

micro: bit to detect the

current ambient temperature,

in degrees Celsius.

An accelerometer measures the

acceleration of your micro: bit;

this component senses when the

micro: bit is moved. It can also

detect other actions, e.g. shake,

tilt, and free-fall.
