ACCESS DOOR CONTROL
General
Information
Your system may be set up such that a locked access door (such
as in a lobby) can be unlocked using a keypad command. Ask
your installer if this has been done in your system.
There are four access door commands as follows:
1. Quick Unlock
Enter your security code and press 0
. The door will unlock
for 2 seconds.
2. Timed Unlock of Assigned Door
Enter your security code + [#] 73. The door will unlock for the
period of time programmed by the installer (using the ACS
software).
3. Timed Unlock of User Selected Door
Enter your security code + [#] + 74. A prompt will display for
the specific access point to be unlocked and whether it is an
entry or exit door. The selected door will unlock for a specific
period of time programmed by the installer (using the ACS
software).
4. Unlock of User Selected Door with Selected Function
Enter your security code +[#] + 75. A prompt will display for
the specific access point to be unlocked and a desired
function: 1-Grant, 2-Protect, 3-Bypass. "Grant" temporarily
unlocks the door to allow access. "Protect" causes the door to
unlock only when a valid access is received. "Bypass"
permanently unlocks the door to allow continuous access.
