Audio Connector The audio jacks connect to external audio devices. • • 6.2.8. Line Out port (lime): Connects to a headphone or a speaker. With multichannel configurations, this port can also connect to front speakers.

These settings have been carefully tested by PENTA and are recommended for proper operation. On any problems please restore the default BIOS settings first by pressing key, then change the values to the one as documented below. Default BIOS settings are marked as “Default”, recommended settings are marked as “Recommended” as they differ from default settings. 7.1.

Rev. 1.5 BIOS Menu The menu bar on top of the BIOS screen has the following main items: • Main – changes the basic system configuration • Advanced – changes the advanced system settings • Chipset – changes the chipset settings • Boot – changes the system boot configuration • Security – sets user and supervisor passwords • Save & Exit – selects exit options and loads default settings 7.2. Main The Main menu appears when the BIOS setup program is entered.

The system appears off. The CPU is stopped; RAM is refreshed; the system is running a low power mode.

Auto Default The serial port IO address and interrupt address are automatically detected. H/W Monitor The H/W Monitor menu shows the operating temperature, fan speeds and system voltages.

Exit Use the Exit menu to load default BIOS values, optimal failsafe values and to save configuration changes. • Save Changes and Reset Use the Save Changes and Reset option to save the changes made to the BIOS options and to exit the BIOS configuration setup program.

Intel® AMT Configuration 7.8.1. Intel® AMT Setup Procedure The PENTA Medical i5/i7 is featured with the Intel® Active Management Technology (AMT) 6.0. To enable the Intel® AMT function, follow the steps below. 1. Make sure the DIMM1 socket is installed with one DDR3 SO-DIMM. 2.

It should contain at least one upper case letter, one lower case letter, one digit, one special character and be at least eight characters.) 4. Verify the new password by entering again. As the touch is bonded to real glass, it high contrast ratio and anti-reflective glass surface guaranty a reliable functionality over the whole lifetime by giving the best transparency and viewing angle. 8.2.

For using a PCIe card, you will also need a PCIe Risercard which is available as option on Medical i5/i7. It is recommended to let PENTA do the assembling of the additional PCIe card, so we can assure the card will work and the warranty is not voided by opening the IPC by yourself. PENTA part no.

Scanner key With this key the 2D Imager /Scanner is switched on for 10 Seconds to scan a barcode.

The drive is located on the right side of the PC above the service USB-Port. A cover protects the optical drive as well as the USB port. Between the two parts of interfaces labels the serial number label is positioned. This label tags the position of the input protection fuse, which is T1,25A H / 250V~ The position of this label tags a RS232 interface. The position of this label tags the mic in audio jack connector.

CLEANING & DISINFECTING PENTA recommends product cleaning and disinfecting according to the guidelines and specifications of the German Robert Koch-Institute (RKI). If you need to use another power-supply, ask your PENTA partner for authorisation. Non observance can result in property damage, severe personal injury and the loss of your warranty! ! Before connecting the power cable all peripheral devices (e.g. keyboard/mouse …) must be connected to your PENTA IPC. Non-Observance can result in property damage.
