TheHost/RemoteSwitchallowstheusertoswitchthedefaultRepeaterIP,SubnetMask,andGatewayofthe
repeatertoan alternativesetup.Thesesettingscanbeadjustedbyloggingintothe ADXDAS in HOSTmodeand
configuringthesettings
undertheModemBoxSettingsectionundertheInstallPageofNMS. 
Oncethesettingsareset,flipping theswitchto theREMOTEposition willrebootNMSmodulewiththe new
alternatesettings.Pleasenotethatwhenthe NMSis settotheREMOTE position, DHCPisdisabledandthe NMS
willnotautomaticallyassignanIPaddresstoanydevicethatconnectsdirectlytotheNMS.

datacollisions between theNMS and HPR mayprevent theuser fromproperly monitoring or configuring theHE
whenattheRU.
