MeasuretheoutputpoweroftheBTSsignalthatwillbeinsertedintotheRFUusingaSpectrumAnalyzer.
‐ If input signal includes more than one technology,then measure the composite
power of each
technology.
BasedonTable7‐2,calculatethemaximumcompositeinputlevelbyusingthefollowingformula:
o “OutputpowerofBTSoftechnologybeingused”+“back‐offvalue”(refertoTable7‐2)
‐ If calculated composite HE DL input power exceeds the permitted
maximum input range, then
additionalattenuationwillneedtobeaddedsothatthecalculatedHEDLinputpowerdoesnot
exceed25dBm.

When multiple WSPs exist in a frequency band at the same time, the ADX‐H‐BCU can be used to
combine/dividethesignalsreceivedfrommultipleWSPs.
‐ TheADX‐H‐BCUcanreceiveupto3incomingDLsignals.Eachincomingsignal
canbeattenuated
individuallyallowingtheusertospecifypowerratiostocontrolthepowerpercarrier.
‐ ThedownlinkpathofBCUhastheinputrangefrom0to25dBm.
‐ IfthedownlinkoutputofBCUexceedsDLoutputALClevelsetbyuser,ALCfunctionwillactivate
and
limittheDLoutputfromexceedingthedefinedALClevel.
‐ TheDLoutputofADX‐H‐BCUistransferredtotheDLinputofRFU.
MeasuretheoutputpoweroftheBTSsignalthatwillbeinsertedintotheBCUusingaSpectrumAnalyzer.
‐ If input signal
