7.2.3 HPRCommissioning
HPR composite downlink output level can be determined using simulation tools like iBwave. User should
simulatethisoutputlevelinordertoensurethatallserviceareashavesufficientcoverage.
The simulated composite DL output power value should not exceed the maximum output level of the HPR,
whichis46/44.8/43dBm.
The simulated composite DL output power value wouldbe used as HPRDL commissioning output level.DL
attenuationvaluewillbeadjustedautomaticallybasedonthissimulatedvalueHPRcommissioninglevel.
For HPR commissioning, user should enter information on DL output commissioning level. Refer to section
7.2.2.1tocalculateDLoutputcommissioninglevel.

‐ During the commissioning routine, if DL output level is 10dB less than commissioning level, a
popupmessagewillappearstatingthatDLoutputislow.If
thisisthecase,thenthereisachance
thatthe“back‐off”valueneedstodecreasebreathingroom.
CheckstoseeifALCisisactive.
‐ Duringthecommissioningroutine, if ALCisactivated,a popup messagewillappearstatingthat
ALC is running.If thisis
thecase, then thereis a chance thatthe “back‐off”value needs tobe
increasetoallowmorebreathingroom.
CheckstoseeiftheSub‐RUhasanyalarms.
‐ If a soft fail is present, the system will prompt the user whether or not they would like
to
continue.
‐ Ifhardfailispresent,thecommissioningprocesswillstopimmediately.
Commissioningissuccessfullycompleted.
