Note: The velocity parameters corresponding to the Peak
Combo Sensor typically should not require editing.
However, if mo difications are necessary, ADS does not
recommend making changes to t hese parameters without
proper training or assistance.
Note: When using a Peak Combo Sensor and S urface
Combo Sensor at the same monitoring poin t, ADS
recommends maintaining the same settings for a ll of the
parameters corresponding to both Peak Velocity (Velocity
tab on the Edit Peak Combo Para meters dialog) and
Surcharge Peak Velocity (Peak Velocity tab in the Edit
Surface Combo Parameters dialog) to ensure consistency
between the velocity readings.
Enable Sel ect this c heckbox to ensure the monitor begins
taking velocity readings at the designated interval once
activated. This option is selected by default.
Flow Type Select the option that best reflects the kind of
flow conditions that typically occur at the monitoring point
from the drop-down list:
Typical Flow exhibits a typical diurnal pattern. This is
the defa ult setting.
Wet/Stagnant Flow r e mains in the pipe, but moves only
duri ng wet weather event s .
Usually Dry Pipe typically remains dry, excep t under
wet weather conditions.
Sensitivity Select the appropr ia te velo c ity sensor sensitivity
from the drop-down list. A sensitivity that is too high may
produce noise, causing interference in t he signal a nd resulting
in spikes in the data. A sensitivity that is to o low can produce
readings that are low in comparison with confirmati on readings.
The default sensitivity is 10.
