Problem
Individual ultrasonic dept h readi ngs (SDEPTH_3) from
Surface Combo Sensor/ Ul trasonic Depth S ensor are
consistently equival ent to the value obtained f rom the
following equation: Pipe Height – P hys i cal Offs et +
9.99.
Possible
Causes
Sensor may be faulty.
5-volt fuse on regulator may have blown.
Possible
Solutions
Replace the Surface Combo Sensor/Ul t rasonic Depth
Sensor.
Replace t he 5-volt bl ue fuse (when replaceable) on the
regulator.
Caution: Do not connect a potentially s hort ed sensor to
another moni tor until confirming t hat the sensor is
functi onal (i .e., not s horted) using a voltmeter. A
shorted sensor will blow the 5-volt (blue) replacement
fuse on the regul ator of the m oni tor.

Sensor reports abnormal temperatures.

Sensor connec tion to m oni tor may be loose.
Temperat ure sensor may be f aul ty.
Sensor m ay be f aul ty.

Solutions
Secure s ensor connecti on to monitor i f necessary.
Replace the sensor.
