5) Replacing the Battery
If the battery is damaged or unable to charge properly, a trouble condition will appear
via the Status LED turning Red. !
First, ensure that the battery is properly connected and AC Power has remained ON for
at least 48 hours. If the trouble condition still exists, the battery may need to be
replaced.!
To replace the battery, remove the rear cover to expose the battery, then replace with a
RT645 SLA battery. Note the correct orientation of the battery and polarity of the wires.!
