Clock Module Alarms
Table 8-18 describes the alarms for the MX2820 Clock Module.

HO Holdover: The clock circuitry is locked and no longer
tracking the external clock reference

CONTCOM Card Communication: Communication between the two
installed Clock Modules in a protected arrangement has
failed

EQPT Equipment Failure: A Non-Service Affecting equipment
problem has occurred

IMPROPRMVL Card Removal: An improper removal of a Clock Module
has occurred

Minor if protection is

PRIFAIL Primary Clock Fail: The Clock Module has detected a fail-
ure condition on the Primary clock input

SECFAIL Secondary Clock Fail: The Clock Module has detected a
failure condition on the Secondary clock input

WKSWPR Switch to Protect: The system has switched to the protect
module (card B) in the protected pair
