the telephone company may temporarily discontinue

service. If possible, advance notification is given; oth-

erwise, notification is given as soon as possible. The

telephone companywilladvisethecustomeroftheright

to filea complaintwith the FCC.

ties, equipment, operations, or procedures that could af-

fect the proper operation of this equipment; advance

notification andthe opportunity tomaintain uninter-

rupted serviceis given.

tact ADTRAN for repair and warranty information. The

telephonecompanymay requirethisequipment to bedis-

connected from the network until the problem is correct-

ed, or it is certainthe equipment is not malfunctioning.

5. This unit contains no user-serviceable parts.

6. An FCCcompliant telephone cordwith a modularplug

is provided with thisequipment. Inaddition,an FCC

compliant cable appropriate for the dial backup option

orderedisprovidedwiththisequipment. Thisequip-

ment isdesigned to beconnected to the telephone net-

work or premises wiring using an FCC compatible

modular jack,which is Part68 compliant.
