7.5 Intersection Movement Assist (IMA)
IMA warns the driver of the HV when there is imminent danger of a crash with a remote
vehicle that is approaching the same intersection. The relevant RV zones for the IMA
feature are illustrated in figures below.

IMA Use Case 1: When the host vehicle is stopped at intersection and a remote
vehicle approaches the intersection, then a warning from the IMA feature shall be
raised.

IMA Use Case 2: When the host vehicle approaches the intersection and the visibility
may be limited, and a remote vehicle approaches the intersection, then a warning from
the IMA shall be raised.
