9. Vehicle Integration

9.1 DSRC OBU - Mechanical Vehicle Integration

The DSRC OBU must be installed into the vehicle by using the 4 feet indicated below.

The Fasteners to be used are the following ones:

 4 x M3 Screws

 4 x M3 Washers

9.2 DSRC OBU - Electrical Vehicle Integration

For the transmission of SAE J2735 compliant BSM’s it is necessary for the DSRC

OBU to be integrated into a Vehicle, in order to be able to receive Vehicle specific

information through the vehicle’s CAN Network.

Since the DSRC OBU is not a vehicle specific solution, the unit has a Read-only

Virtual-CAN Protocol which can be mapped and customized to Multiple Models and

OEM’s
