DESCRIPTION
Cop-R-Shield PC is a non-asphaltic copper ashing
specically designed for deck construction and termite
shield protection. Advanced Building Products uses
a durable 5 mil. poly laminated to either a 2 oz. or 3
oz. piece of copper. The copper and poly technology
gives our ashing superior tensile strength, puncture
resistance, and self-sealing capabilities.

FEATURES
Cop-R-Shield PC is a permanent, premium quality
laminated thru-wall ashing consisting of three (3) layers
of time proven waterproong materials combined under
heat and pressure into a single sheet. It is exible and is
easily formed by hand at the jobsite.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
All materials specied shall be delivered to the site in
approved manufacturer’s sealed containers bearing
manufacturer’s name and material identication.
INSTALLATION
When installing Cop-R-Shield PC at a deck ledger
location, extend the ashing a minimum of 5 inches up
the exterior wall and under the weather resistant barrier.
Flashing should also extend across the width of the
ledger board and down the vertical face of the board
prior to attaching the deck support joists and hardware.
Flashing should be installed with corrosion resistant
staples or nails.
