The arrangement of the protection bits in the PROT bytes is as follows:

‘0’ byte is write protected
‘1’ byte can be written

ERRCNT The value of the presentation error counter. 07 indicates the last verification
is correct. 00 indicates the password is locked (exceed maximum number of retries). Other
values indicate the last verification is failed.
DUMMY Three bytes dummy data read from the card.
SW1, SW2 = 90 00 if no error
