6.14 PTZ Setup
There is one RS-485 port on the DVR rear panel used for PTZ control.
6.14.1 PTZ RS485 Connection
Connect DVR/DVS RS-485 port Pin T+” with PTZ Pin “A”. Connect DVR RS-485
port Pin T-“ with PTZ Pin B”. If DVR RS-485 port is an RJ45 interface, please
refer to DVR user manual for the RS-485 pin definition.
6.14.2 PTZ Settings
Configure the RS-485 parameters to match your PTZ protocol. In the main menu,
select the PTZ setup option.
PTZ menu Options:
Select channel: Select a PTZ camera.
RS-485 parameters: Including baud rate, data bit, stop bit, parity, flow control, etc.
These parameters must be the same as those required by the PTZ protocol.
PTZ address: Each PTZ has a different address.
PTZ type: The DVR has the following PTZ protocols:

HD600, JC-4116, Pelco-d WX, Pelco-D, VCOM VC-2000,
NetStreamer, SAE/YAAN, Samsung, Kalatel-312, CELOTEX,

Other PTZ protocols will be added with the new firmware.
Note: If you select Pelco-P protocol set the dome address one number higher than the
DVR setting. For example, if camera ID is 2, the DVR PTZ address is set as ID 3.
