OBJECTIVE
The purpose of this testing is to determine the failure point of the awnings
when loaded with 10 pound bags, simulating snow fall on top of the awnings.
PARAMETERS
The following test parameters are monitored.
TEST PROCEDURE
1. Install the awnings per the installation instructions.
2. Evenly distribute 10 lb. bags across the top of the awning.
3. Continue adding weight bags until failure.
4. Once failure occurs weigh the bags to verify failure load.
5. Record the failure load.
