Evo Wiring [POWER/SERIAL CABLE DIAGRAM] We’ve included a det achable w iring harness. Connect everyt hing before plugging harness int o t he Evo device. Black Wire: Gr ound – Connect t he gr ound wi r e t o t he vehi cl e chassi s (shoul d al ways be f i r st connection made.) Red Wire: 12 VDC Constant Power – Connect to a constant power source. Voltage should read 12V when the vehicle’s ignition line is in the off position.
ECM Starter Disable [DIAGRAM 1] If t he st art er is cont rolled by t he ECM (Engine Cont rol M odule), splice t he w ire t hat leads direct ly from t he ECM t o t he st art er. Note: Do not splice into the wire leading from ignition switch to the ECM. GREEN (Not In Use) RED = Ignit ion WHITE = St art er YELLOW = Input Note: Yellow wire connects to Yellow relay wire.
Starter Interrupter [OPTIONAL FEATURE – DIAGRAM 1] • Locat e and cut t he st art er w ire of t he vehicle. This w ire w ill only display 12VDC w hile t he vehicle is st art ing. • Connect yellow wire from the harness to the yellow wire of the starter interrupt relay. • Connect red w ire from t he st art er int errupt relay t o t he ignit ion sw it ch side of t he st art er w ire. • Connect w hit e w ire of t he st art er int errupt relay t o t he st art er side of t he st art er w ire.
Payment Reminder [OPTIONAL FEATURE] • Locat e a sw it ch ignit ion pow er w ire t hat reads 12V w hen t he vehicle’s ignit ion is in t he ON posit ion and 0 Volt s w hen t he vehicle ignit ion is in t he OFF posit ion.
