Chapter 1 Hardware Configuration

1.3.3 Input/Output

 PCIe slot: 1 PCIe x16 expansion slot, 1 PCIe x4 expansion slot, and 1 PCIe x1

expansion slot

 PCI Bus: 4 PCI slots, 32-bit, 33 MHz PCI 2.2 compliant

 Enhanced parallel port: Configured to LPT1 or disabled. Standard DB-25

female connector provided. Supports EPP/SPP/ECP

 Serial port: Four serial ports, one is RS-232/422/485 with hardware auto-flow

control and three are RS-232. Two DB-9 connectors located in rear panel are

RS-232

 Keyboard and PS/2 mouse connector: Two 6-pin mini-DIN connectors are

located on the mounting bracket for easy connection to a PS/2 keyboard and

mouse.

 USB port: Supports up to 14 USB 2.0 ports with transmission rates up to 480

Mbps

 Only dual core CPU, such as Core i5 6XX, Core i3 and Pentium processors

have integrated Intel® HD Graphics graphic core, quad core processors do

NOT have graphic core and need a discrete graphic card for graphic functions.

 Display memory: 1 GB maximum shared memory with 2 GB and above sys-

tem memory installed

 DVI-D: Up to resolution 1920 x 1200 @ 60 Hz refresh rate

 CRT: Up to 2048 x 1536 resolution @ 75 Hz refresh rate

 Supports single/dual 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet port (s) via PCIe x1 bus

which provides a 500 MB/s data transmission rate.

 Watchdog timer: Can generate a system reset or NC. The watchdog timer is

programmable, with each unit equal to one second or one minute (255 levels)
