2.3.3 COM2 Connector
The ARK-3380 provides a D-sub 9-pin connector, which offers one RS-
232/422/485 serial communication interface port of COM2. The default
setting of COM2 is RS-232. Please refer to section 4.1 “Jumper Settings”
and section 7 “Full Disassembly Procedure” to set up RS-422 or RS-485.
The RS-422/485 mode of COM2 can be supported via replacing the inter-
nal COM 2 cable by using the new cable (Part Number 1700001967), and
adjusting the jumper inside the system. The extra cable (pn.1700001967)
has been stored in the accessory box of the product carton.
